A little while ago Tampa Free Skool asked to use one of my linocuts for a screen printing project.
The other day I recived this email.
“Hello, Alan. I wanted you to get a glimpse of what Tampa Free Skool is doing with your art. This Thursday, we conducted a class on screen printing. All of the attendees brought their own shirts, and we demonstrated the process of creating the screen and printing the design. The results were gorgeous, and I’m excited at the prospect of people wearing the shirts around town. I personally printed on a hoodie from City Lights Books, which was the historic heart of the Beat movement in San Francisco.”
It’s nice when my stuffs used for good things.
